Loren Katzovitz
Loren Katzovitz serves as a Senior Advisor to YXS Capital, where he architects the firm’s institutional governance, operational infrastructure, and capital markets strategy. He currently serves as a Senior Managing Director at Centiva Capital within the Office of the CIO and is a Managing Partner at US Gulf Capital Partners, a firm focused on strategic cross-border investment between the U.S. and the GCC. This cross-border connectivity aligns YXS Capital’s platform with critical global capital corridors, providing direct access to sovereign wealth partners and strategic acquirers. With a career spanning over 30 years, Loren is a recognized authority in building and institutionalizing multi-strategy investment platforms. Prior to his current roles, he was a Managing Director at Lazard Asset Management, where he led the expansion of the Alternative Investment Platform, incubating new strategies in AI-driven technologies and TMT. His leadership at Guggenheim Partners was transformative. Joining as a Managing Partner and President in 2002, Loren co-founded Guggenheim’s managed account platform (GAAM), growing it to $3 billion in assets before orchestrating a successful sale to the Bank of Ireland. This experience in scaling complex, multi-strategy platforms from concept to multi-billion-dollar exit serves as the operational blueprint for YXS Capital’s growth and governance structure. Earlier in his career, Loren was Head of Alternative Assets and Co-Head of Global Equity Derivatives at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), managing nearly $5 billion in AUM. At YXS Capital, Loren operationalizes this pedigree by overseeing the firm’s "Kill-Switch" diligence framework and LP reporting standards, ensuring Tier-1 institutional compliance. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Veru Inc. (NASDAQ: VERU) and holds a BS from the University of Southern California.
