Anthony Burn
Anthony Burn is a senior executive and innovation leader focused on applying advanced technologies—especially satellite, remote sensing, and digital solutions—to address global challenges in health, climate, and economic development. He has led development, business, and policy efforts across government, international agencies, and the private sector, building robust coalitions that combine innovative financing, public-private partnerships, and on-the-ground adoption. Anthony’s international career includes leadership roles with the United Nations, World Bank, and the Global Fund, where he pioneered decision-support tools powered by earth observation and digital platforms for capacity-building programs across Asia-Pacific, South America, and Africa. At Radiant Earth Foundation, he established strategic partnerships to deploy geospatial analytics for initiatives ranging from environmental monitoring in the Pacific to disease outbreak tracking in Peru. He has also held advanced advisory and technical roles at the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS), working on commercial projects aboard the International Space Station, and as a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Climate and Security. In addition to public and international work, Anthony has held posts in the private space and aerospace sectors, delivering integrated satellite, drone, and robotics technologies to a worldwide client base. Earlier in his career, he held management, policy, and trade roles with organizations such as Transport for London, the Federation of Small Businesses, and Citigate Public Affairs. Anthony holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School & Brown University, degrees from the International Space University, and the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
